To our friends in the Western world, you may have thought there would be a photo of an elephant, lion, or wildebeest here, but this is a better depiction of the work Tara Kenyon is doing in East Africa. Under the supervision of the Bank of Tanzania, the country has 40 full-fledged commercial banks, three development financial institutions, eleven community banks, five micro-finance banks, two credit reference bureaus, and three financial leasing companies.

Tara is working as a volunteer for the International Executive Service Corp.'s ENGINE program this month (April 2019), consulting on the strategic planning for a banking institute. Stay tuned...lots of exciting stuff here.
