It's ours! (officially)

Although KENTARA has been going strong for three years, we've been working hard to make the name of the company a registered mark with the US Patent and Trade Office (USPTO). Who thought it would take three years of operation to make it happen?

What does it mean? Visually, the name Kentara now has a little "R" in a circle near it -> ® . Officially, it means that the USPTO examined our application for trademark registration of Kentara to use in commerce, then approved it because it meets the with the USPTO's "appropriate distinctiveness criteria." Distinctiveness indeed.

So if you happen to wander onto the USPTO's website and search its trademark database for Kentara, you'll find it. Cool, huh?

P.S. The next chapter in the USPTO story is the Kentara logo. Baby steps...
